I’m Jillian — a Licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst with over a decade of experience in the field of Autism and related diagnoses. During that time I have supported families with navigating their children’s developmental and behavioral needs. My support has been with families of newly diagnosed children to parents of adult children who are navigating the world of day programs. My experience spans across early childhood education and mental health counseling prior to obtaining my certification in applied behavior analysis.

I created Emergent Roots because I believe lasting change begins with a family-centered approach. Throughout my career, I provided behavioral support across a variety of settings that include center based and in-home therapy along with school consultation. Over time I realized supporting parents and caregivers is where I find the greatest meaning in my work. I believe families should feel empowered to choose the direction they want to take with their child-with guidance that is both evidence-based and deeply collaborative.

Every family deserves support that is tailored to their unique strengths, values, and goals. Emergent Roots is rooted in science and guided by compassion. My goal is to equip parents and caregivers with practical strategies that support their child’s ongoing needs at any age.
